Framed Weathervane Art
The weather vane is a known by different names such as, wind vane and weather cock. Weather vanes are typically used to show the direction of the wind. These days, due to modern technology, a weather vane is usually decorative and come in different styles like horses, arrows, and ships.
Horse and Rider Weather Vane is framed weather vane photography of a rider or his horse with two dogs taking the lead. The Wesleyan Chapel Weather vane is a cyclist with the letter directions, north, south, east, and west. In my opinion, these weather vanes are easier to read. Another directional framed weather vane photo is Train Weather Vane. The train engine sits on top with the steam rolling.
Weather Vane of Leaping Deer is an unusual framed weather vane photo. Leaping deer aren’t normally found on the top of a weather vane. It is a nice decoration to have on top of any house. On the more typical side of the things, Rooster Weather Vane is a common motif that is seen rapidly spending on top of a house on a windy day.
Cell phones and computer have made the weather vane almost obsolete these day. Some have found different ways to redefine it. They moved inside the home and made for an interesting tablescape for a dining room or a decoration for a wall in a living room. Though weather vanes are barely used today, they still make a great piece of framed weather vane art.
