Framed Coastline Paintings
Trending resort towns and enchanting island getaways are just along the coastline of many cities and countries. Breath taking views stand out at every corner of a framed coastline artwork. No peace of canvas goes untouched by artist when drawing the coastlines that we know and love.
Coastlines of the imaginations are displayed as well taking us on a ride inside the dreams and thoughts of an artist.
Coastal lighthouses and homes cling to the vertical terrain for the hillsides. framed coastline imagery is alluring and full of life. Howard Behrens captures these homes in a painting called, Hillside Villas. The seas twinkle under the sunlight of the day and continue to dazzle under the moonlight of the night. Along other coastlines, desolate walking trails are found by tourists who travel to these towns.
So many homes are wedged on the hillsides that it seems like the houses are right on top of each other. Peter Bell has a similar approach while using broader and thicker brush strokes. His framed coastline artwork has seaside homes that protrude from the edge of the coastal mountains. His images boast lively waters with small sailboats in the sea.
Centuries ago these coastlines found in the framed coastline artwork that we see were once coastal trade posts. The coastlines were packed with shipments of items such as seafood and textiles. The trade posts provided revenue for these small coastal islands and in some places the trades continue. No matter where you are on the coastline, the structure remains the same the history is not too far behind.
