Framed Vermont Artwork
The state of Vermont is one of the smallest ones on the East Coast and the only one that doesn’t have a coastline at the Atlantic Ocean. The thing that the state is famous for is maple syrup, with Vermont being the leading producer nationwide. The vast majority of its territory is covered by forests, with almost three quarters of the land being covered in lush vegetation, something emphasized by FramedArt.com through its assortment of Framed Vermont Art.
Only a handful of the Framed Vermont Art is dedicated to the urban areas, for the simple reason that the local cities are extremely small by US standards. Montpelier is the capital and with less than 8000 inhabitants, it is by far the smallest nationwide, while the biggest city doesn’t have more than 50,000 residents. Back in the day, its territory was inhabited by two Native American tribes, until the French conquest and was eventually ceded to the United Kingdom in the second half of the 18th century.
There are a couple of Framed Vermont Art dedicated to the brief period of time when the independent state went by the name of the Vermont Republic. It enjoyed the status for less than two decades and eventually joined the original 13 colonies, not before abolishing slavery. Painters such as Carl Valente can provide art and history lovers with a window into the past, through paintings such as Vermont’s Colonial Times or Tunbridge Vermont.
