Framed Marlon Brando Art
Perhaps one of the best actors of all time and definitely one of the 20th century’s greats, Marlon Brando was born in 1929 and won his first Academy Award in 1954. On The Waterfront was the movie that made him famous and he used that opportunity as a springboard to other roles, some of them resulting in award-winning performances.
FramedArt.com covers his illustrious career with a nice assortment of Framed Marlon Brando Posters including both his early and recent successes.
The first time Marlon Brando received an Academy award nomination was in 1951 when playing the role of Stanley Kowalski. Four years later he won the trophy and came painfully close of winning in the category of best actor after a fantastic performance in Viva Zapata. The 50s were great years for Brando, who starred in several great films, including the Julius Caesar film adaptation and Sayonara in 1957.
After a less successful decade, he returned to prominence by reprising the role of Vito Corleone in 1972, in The Godfather. The movie was well received by the critics as well as the movie fans, with the next two installments being just as successful despite the fact that Marlon Brando didn’t start in any of them. With the movie being widely regarded as one of the best mobster films and also one of the top movies of all time, it comes as no surprise that so many Framed Marlon Brando Posters feature him in that role.
