Framed Abstract Number Prints
Abstract art has the uncanny ability of encouraging people to look differently at paintings and even see different things that the ones envisioned by the artist. The promoters of this movement went to great lengths to promote freedom in all its forms, without confining them to a strict frame. They drew inspiration from real life objects and landscapes, as well as abstract things and even numbers, so it comes as no surprise that FramedArt.com has assembled an entire collection of Framed Abstract Number Art.
Just as the name would indicate, Framed Abstract Number Art is closely related to the digits and numbers, which are subtly included in the art prints. Some of the paintings, such as the ones authored by Patricia Pinto are named House 34, House 52 and so on, while others have neutral names and the numbers actually appear in the painting. Not all artists tried to make the numbers self evident, and those who admire many posters, will have to take their time to find the intended connection.
Jackson Pollock was one of the first to bring numbers into the spotlight, but he did in a very different way by simply naming his paintings in this manner. Some of his prints were darker in color and the artist departed from his initial style, using figurative elements and colors as well as twisted lines. He chose the name is paintings in this way, instead of using conventional titles because they are neutral and people can admire the art for what it is, with Number 5 and Number 14 being shining examples.
