Framed Light Green Wall Art
There are different shades of green that painters routinely use in their artwork, with each being used to express slightly different feelings. Framed live Green prints are usually about lush vegetation and fruits, or celebrate the great outdoors, with modern artists also relying on it to promote ecology.
FramedArt.com provides you with artwork that brilliantly combines the most popular artistic movements of the 18th and 19th centuries, with the latest posters that strive to convey a compelling message.
The reason for why the number of framed live green paintings dating from the 18th century is so big, has to do with the fact that this is when synthetic green pigments were discovered. Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Goethe celebrated nature and regarded this color as a restful one, ideal for interior decorations. Painters also loved green and in the 19th century, James McNeill Whistler created a string of paintings all called Nocturnes or Symphonies, in which this color was the dominant one.
One can also find framed live green prints authored by Vincent van Gogh who was passionate about the study of colors and tried to express the human passions. He chose green and red for this purpose and the Night Cafe is one of the most representative paintings, created in 1888. John Constable, Jean Baptiste Corot and Emile Bernard are a few of the painters who also made extensive use of green, when painting still life, or emphasize the beauty of nature in spring.
