Kaeli Smith was born and raised in Annapolis, MD. She loved art from a tender age and she started painting and drawing and making things at an early age. All the things she produced at that early age still provide direction and inspiration for her current work. Kaeli creates art just because nothing else in life has brought her real happiness the way painting does. She creates her art sometimes on the stimulation of the moment or after seeing something that inspires her, whether it’s something physical or just an emotion. For her whole life, she has been bringing delight to people through her artwork. She works mainly in watercolors and has had many shows featuring her work. She likes to paint with watercolors because she says the texture is unique and the colors are so vivid. Each of her prints is an original creation, and each new collection features an elegant display of unique prints. She had a dream of becoming a professional painter and began her career as a local artist. She was greatly inspired by her beloved hometown. Today, framed Kaeli Smith art adorns the walls of many prestigious buildings around the world. They are also found in galleries and museums all over the world. While a student at the University of Delaware, she majored in art, and her dream of becoming a painter evolved into much more. She’s driven by her interest in design and fashion, and she combines her artistic talents to produce pieces of art that are bright and attractive.
