Michel Setboun is a French photographer who was born in Algeria. He loved art since his childhood, but it was not until 1978 that he began working seriously as a photographer. Setboun has distributed his pieces of art both nationally and internationally. His art has made him to win numerous awards during his career. And the framed Michel Setboun art can be seen hanging on the walls of some of the most prestigious buildings, galleries, institutions, and homes around the globe. He believes that truth in photography, just like in literature, can be portrayed deeply and more eloquently by depicting a true impression of the subject rather than just doing things casually. Being an experienced photographer, almost everything is self explanatory to him. His love of art has grown out of the passion he has for patterns and colors. Pushing himself to produce exciting and bold images is something he thrives on. Setboun is always striving to produce pieces of art that are perfect. This, he says, helps keep his art fresh, and in turn means his portfolio is always growing. The freshness of his art can easily be seen in all his pieces of art because they can be used to decorate any space. Setboun prints his works in colorful detail that reflect the emotional nature of his subjects. He has worked hard as a photographer and this has earned him a reputation as one of the leading photographers in France. When he’s capturing images, he tries to remember the vivid colors because his camera never captures the whole truth of what he’s seeing.
