Matt Freedman a renowned artist from the US. He was bitten by the art bug when still young and has never looked back since then. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and Master Of Arts/Master Of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa. Freedman works and lives and falls in love with art every day afresh. He’s a graphic artist, sculptor, writer, performer, and curator. All his images are inspired by nature and by the people he has interacted with in the course of his work, and by the places he has visited. He has participated in many one-man exhibitions at many venues including FiveMyles (Brooklyn), Flipside (Brooklyn), Valentine Gallery (Queens), vertexList (Brooklyn), Pierogi Gallery (Brooklyn), Studio 10 Gallery (Brooklyn), and SculptureCenter (New York). His love for art grows stronger and stronger as days go by. Each of his images is a touching experience for him and he hopes it’s the same is experienced by the viewer. This explains why he always makes his art in a way that touches the feelings of his viewers. Framed Matt Freedman art are very common in many buildings in the United States and beyond. The artist has performed at The Kitchen (New York), Galapagos Art Space (Brooklyn), the Brooklyn Museum, P S 1 MoMA, Brooklyn Fireproof, and Flux Factory (New York). He says that the atmosphere under which he works is extremely beautiful, sometimes impressive, sometimes fairytale-like, but always meditative. His work is a result of shared ideas – ideas that he cherishes.
