Fred Mathews Art

Fred Mathews was in Chicago, Illinois. He’s a self-taught artist and is a graduate of Dunbar Vocational High School. Mathews studied fine and commercial art. His works of art have been featured in a wide variety of galleries and magazines throughout the U.S. These facilities include Good Life Magazine, the Griffin Gallery, the October Gallery, The Raw Art Show, and more. Being a self-taught artist he has the freedom to choose the style and technique that he feels suits a particular project. He mainly uses a combination of acrylic, oils and air-brushing to create his popular urban and contemporary artwork. He loved art from a tender age and he graduated at the top of his class from Dunbar Vocational High School. He paints from his soul a reflection of his experiences and what he thinks people need to see too inspire them. Mathews’ paintings show the love he has for his people and the gift God gave him. Framed Fred Mathews art is found in many collections around the world.
