Ben James Art

Ben James is a multimedia artist who is good at both design and painting. He’s also a DJ and musician. James graduated from the University of Maryland in Baltimore County with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts specializing in Graphic Design. His works sell so fast, and all his latest works have all been sold so he’s open to offers of commissions of landscapes, portraits and scenes of human interaction. James hopes the viewers will enjoy his work. He certainly likes making art and always has some work in progress. He loves what he does and his aim is to capture the feeling from a point in time in his pieces. James aims to capture the feeling from a point in time in his pieces. His interest is to combine the foreground with the background to create an overall image. Basically, he’s a self-taught painter but did a three-year printmaking degree because he didn't have the self-assurance to join the painting degree class as until that point, he had only used poster paint. Being self-taught has allowed him to explore many methods of painting in his own way, of which he has taken the bits he liked and encouraged them into what he feels is now a style of his own.
