Gail Eads is a self-taught painter who draws her inspiration mainly from nature. She’s fascinated with the beauty of the outdoors and often works to express the artistry of her subjects. Her artistic style is quite unique and ornamental, having mastered the art during a time when she was customizing ornaments. This has enabled her to refine the lettering style that she uses in creating her art pieces. Several of her paintings use her uniquely developed lettering style, with a number of them mainly having backgrounds with a variety of color shades and text that communicate to the viewer. Creating art is Gail’s source of joy and she relishes in seeing her complete works and their level of appeal. This gives her a great sense of accomplishment. She founded The Country Life, a gift shop, after her husband convinced her to quit her personalizing ornaments job.
Together with her husband, she works at the shop, where they sell a variety of products such as antiques, primitive decor, gifts, and custom artwork. Gail also offers classes in lettering and painting in the shop, focusing mainly on acrylic. They have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. Her husband has been very supportive of her artistic endeavors and has stayed by her side as they build their artistic empire. She appreciates the fact that God gave her the ability to create art and she glorifies him by delivering her best through her creative pieces. Her works can be found in collections and galleries, with framed Gail Eads art also available for those who prefer ready to hang art. Other available finishing options are lamination and canvas.
