Framed Lipstick Art

Lipstick was probably invented five thousand years ago when ancient Sumerians wore it for the first time and it was quickly embraced by other cultures. The framed lipstick prints are usually depicting modern and sophisticated women wearing it proudly to highlight their natural beauty. Even so, lipstick has been around for a long time and it was the Egyptians who perfected it and their recipe was used for many centuries all over the world.

Most of the framed lipstick posters up for sale are featuring elegant women admiring themselves into the mirror while using lipstick to brighten up their lips. England was the place where lipstick gained traction, but the French took things to the next level, when the cosmetic company Guerlain started to manufacture it on a massive scale. Jeff Williams and Marco Fabiano are two of the modern artists who celebrate lipstick and the effect it has on beautiful women, while the characters in their artwork seem to take this cosmetic procedure to the level of pure art.
