Cowboy Wall Art
When we think about the cowboy lots of history comes to mind. The cowboy may still be around today, but, they are not the same as the original versions. Artists have brought the cowboys of history to the canvas to keep them alive in this time.
There are many framed cowboy art pieces that reflect the way that life used to be for the cowboy and those that reflect the respect between a cowboy and his faithful horse.
Jack Sorenson is probably one of the most famous artists in the genre of framed cowboy artwork. He has many works that include the rugged cowboy and his steed. Some of his works include “Lightnin’ In the Sky”, “Winds of Change”, and “Looking Glass Falls”. These are all great pieces that any lover of cowboy art would hang proudly.
Another great contributor to the field of framed cowboy art paintings is Charles M. Russell. Most of his works show the cowboys of days gone by in action and have great attention to detail. Some of his most popular works are “Mad Cow”, “In without Knocking”, “Bronc to Breakfast”, and “Tight Tally and A Loose Latigo”.
Not only was the cowboy faithful to his horse a lot of them also had a connection with man’s best friend and a couple of artists like Robert Dawson and John Rossini have captured this in unique ways. Dawson’s photographic work titled “Cowboy Puppy” and Rossini’s piece “Forever Faithful” are able to portray this connection in a great way.
