Framed Terrier Posters
There are so many types of Terriers that rookies will have a hard time distinguishing between the numerous varieties. FramedArt.com can lend a helping hand, by providing a wide-ranging collection of Framed Terrier Art dedicated to all the important breeds.
Some of them are as light as 2 pounds, while others can exceed 70 pounds and they obviously serve different roles, although all of them are a great choice for pets.
The vast majority of Terrier breeds originated from Ireland and Great Britain, with their role being limited to controlling foxes, rats and rabbits populations. The largest types of Terriers were used for hunting bigger prey and they were extensively bred, which explains the nice diversity of breeds today. Over the course of time, they were crossed with fighting and hunting dogs, which culminated with the 19th century, when dog shows became popular.
Framed Terrier Art features some of the most representative types of Terriers, including those that were used in sporting contests. Famous for their courage and tenacity, they are no longer needed for killing rats and have emerged as great family pets and companion dogs. Affectionate and loyal, they are strong-willed and unless they are trained properly, they can occasionally get out of control. They enjoy spending time with their masters and don’t mind spending most of their lives indoors, although they prefer to play outside and chase tennis balls in the yard.
