Framed Lobster Art

The holes they dig on the seafloor serve as more than a refuge against predators and the lobster also uses them for ambushing prey. They’re pretty successful at what they’re doing, and under normal circumstances, they would thrive in different environments. Unfortunately, the fact that they are prized seafood resulted in overfishing and the commercial importance of lobsters can also be their downfall. While they don’t have any reliable defense systems against humans and fishing, lobsters rely on their hard exoskeleton. The only moment when they are truly vulnerable is when they molt, a time when they expose themselves to predators.
