Flamingo Framed Art

Flamingos are wild birds that live all over the world and they are recognizable by their stand on one leg. Instead of being flying birds, flamingos aren’t very good flyers, but they are good swimmers in deep water. More often, they can be seen wading through ponds. Flamingos are born grey or white, but after three years of their lives, they become pink, red or orange. This is caused by the food they are eating which contains different pigments, but also, their color can be inherited. Flamingo bird has very long legs that can sometimes be longer than flamingo’s whole body. Besides, they also have long necks and because of this, a flamingo is considered to be one of the tallest birds in the world. The most commonly known, and at the same time the tallest one, is the Greater flamingo. These birds usually live from 20 to 30 years.
