Framed Art Gifts for Women
It is no secret that everyone perceives art a little bit differently based on their own experiences. Special care must be taken in selecting framed gifts for her. Whether the gift is for a wife, a mother, a sister, or even a friend, the art world provides plenty of pieces geared toward women.
Many instances of framed art for her feature women as their subjects. “Cinzano” by Leonetto Cappiello features a dark-haired woman in a white dress and yellow cape who appears to be floating on red and white bunches of grapes. Theophile-Alexandre Steinlen’s “Clinique Cheron” shows a woman comforting several dogs and cats. Despite the title, the subject of “Flaming June” by Frederic Leighton is not actually on fire, but her bright orange dress might make it appear as such at first glance.
The natural world is a popular theme in framed art pieces for her. “Dutch Tulips II” by Gaetano Art Group shows a group of mauve-colored tulips in a metal pot with the headline “Harmony” at the top of the image. Claude Monet’s “Chemin Dans Les Bles A Pourville” shows a beach with hills in the background. The blue of the water contrasts effectively with the yellow, orange, and green in the foreground.
Many women have a fondness for animals, another popular artistic subject. Jon Bertelli’s “Curiosity” simply shows the upper half of a cat’s head peering over the bottom of the frame. The remainder of the frame is empty. “Lepa Zena” by Marta Gottfried Wiley” shows an abstract rendition of a black horse.
