Heart Framed Art
Most of the world associates the symbol of the heart as a sign for love and artists have found great ways to bring that feel of love to their framed heart artwork.
These works are not the typical and traditional red heart with the cupid’s arrow shooting through it; these are unique and wonderful pieces of true art.
Louise Carey takes a step on the wild side with the framed heart art painting “Zebra Love”. While artists like Celeste Peters and Liz Jardine like to keep with the traditional red heart and add just enough twist to make their works standout from the norm. Their pieces “Hearts” and “Three of Hearts” seem to be popular choices amongst lovers of art.
Richard Henson and Lynda Fays are artists that prefer to use non-traditional colors when creating their framed heart art pictures. Fays likes to also incorporate living creatures like dragonflies and butterflies into her works. While Henson stays with the heart he works in bright colors like purple, orange, green, and pink.
Kate Adams has a piece titled “Thirty Hearts” that reminds viewers of a patchwork quilt that you might have found draped across the foot of your grandma’s bed which often stirs great memories for its viewers. Kim Klassen uses the colors of black and beige which are not normally associated when we think of the heart by she definitely makes them work in her piece “Heart”.
