Framed Garden Prints
Not everyone in the world has a green thumb. For those of us that fit that description, myself included, a nice piece of framed garden artwork is something I don’t have to water and it doesn’t rely on me to continue and extend its life expectancy. Those garden lovers who do thrive in the garden can also prosper from garden art hanging on a wall in their home as well.
A great framed garden picture I would get for my mother is Potted Geraniums I by Carol Rowan. She loves plants but doesn’t take care of them very well. So, this is something I would definitely purchase for her, and the next time I come over it won’t be leaning to the side and brown from death. September Song by Diane Romanello is a fascinating walk through garden filled with an assortment of flowers and trees with a quaint walking path that makes you feel like you are in the picture.
Apparently, cats seem to have an affinity for gardens as well in the framed garden art called, simply, Garden Cat. This artwork featured a small black cat on a paved path in the midst of a big garden. The cat sits in a position of admiration of the beautiful plants, shrubs, and trees that sit before her.
Just like many of us, as winter draws to a close, we find ourselves Waiting for Spring, just like the two red cardinals found in the framed garden painting by John Rossini. The two cardinals are perched on an old watering can as if they are watching the snow melt around them, and waiting for the flowers of spring to finally bloom.
