Framed Fiji Artwork
The Republic of Fiji is one of the island countries in Oceania and it is just 1300 miles northeast of New Zealand’s. Virtually all its neighbors are tiny islands that depend almost exclusively on the revenue generated by tourism. This explains why most of the Framed Fiji Art up for sale at FramedArt.com paints a tropical Paradise, with Palm trees, beaches with fine sand and crystal-clear waters.
The archipelago Fiji contains more than 300 islands but only a third of them are permanently inhabited, so there are plenty to discover by enthusiastic tourists. Very few Framed Fiji Art focus on the urban areas on the island, but the largest city and also the capital Suva is the one that is worth visiting. The country has also been for many decades a major exporter of sugar, with this industry still going strong, even though it was recently surpassed by tourism.
Since the British established the colony in 1875, the island has changed a lot and the nation gained its independence one century later. Framed Fiji Art allows you to catch a glimpse and what lies beneath the crystal-clear waters, with hundreds of species of plants and fish coexisting in harmony. The fragile ecosystem hosts some of the most beautifully colored fish in the world, including species that are threatened with extinction. Clown fish, sea anemones and corals can be admired in these art prints and they have a soothing effect on the audience.
