Framed Spoon Artwork
A spoon is a spoon is a spoon is not a true statement in the world of art. Artists have found ways to make framed spoon artwork that is neither boring nor unappealing to the eye.
Each artist brings their own special style so they are able to transform something as simple as a kitchen spoon into something wonderful that you want to hang on the wall of your home or eatery.
For lovers of art that like the field of photography, photographer Mike Feeley has done some great work with black and white when creating framed spoon art pictures. He keeps it simple with a fan of silver spoons on a black background. Photographer couple Dick and Diane Stefanich take a different approach and use measuring spoons instead of the ordinary kitchen spoon in their piece titled “Tsp”.
Chariklia Zarris is an artist that always brings her own style to any category of art and framed spoon art paintings is no different. She uses lots of bright colors and a variety of kitchen utensils and appliances while the spoon is a focus point in the painting. Pep Ventosa, Elizabeth Espin, and David Carter Brown are all artists that prove the spoon can stand alone and still create beautiful art.
There are artist that prefer to create their spoon art by pairing the spoon with its partners the fork and the knife. Some of these artists are Assaf Frank, Sabine Berg, Lanie Loreth, and Deborah Devellier. Adolf Llovera takes a completely different attitude and combines the spoon with a cup of coffee in his painting “The Wait.”
